Santo Wines
Union of Santorini Cooperatives – Santo Wines was founded in 1947 in order to support the economic interests of Santorini producers. Today, SantoWines, the biggest wine producer of the island, has approximately 2500 members that equals to the total number of the producers of the island, while 1000 of them are active. Santo Wines, responding to the demands of the domestic and international market, constantly efforts to improve product quality, by being supplied with modern technology machinery and staffed with highly skilled persons, always with respect towards the 3,500 year island tradition to vinification. The Wine Production Department of Santo Wines has been internationally aknowledged and has been awarded several times in international wine competitions.
