Rouvalis Winery
Oenoforos winery was built in 1994 in the commumity of Selinous, 3 Km away from the National Road of Korinthos - Patras, on the junction of Aigion It is an establishment which gives the feeling of tanquility and simplicity,, while it takes advantage of the gravity which is offered by its design. In 1990, Aggelos Rouvalis, after having graduated from the University of Bordeaux as an oenologist, came back to Aigialeia in order to find out the unique characteristics of Aigialeia land. The company company owns vineyards, but, also, cooperates with other producers from Aigialeia, who possess or plant vines on selected vine plots, at an altitude of 500-1050 meters. The varieties cultivated are Roditis and Lagorthi, as also the international ones of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay and Riesling.
