Petriessa Estate
In Homeric times, on the eastern side of Boeotia, 2 small cities flourished, Mykalissos – today's Ritsona – and in the southern Euboean gulf directly across from Chalkida, Avlida. The region is characterized by a centuries-old winemaking tradition. Thus, in the viticultural zone of Ritsona and at an altitude of 200-220 meters, the privately owned vineyard of the Petriessa estate thrives, covering an area of 65 acres of old vineyards (over 50 years old) and 150 acres of newly planted vineyards.
