Nico Lazaridi Wines

Nikos Lazaridis company was founded in 1987 by its current president Nikos Lazaridis, in the prefecture of Drama. Out of this effort are highlighted the rich wine-growing porential of the region and several highly skilled and capable people who have created excellent products. The Château Nicos Lazaridis winery of 800 acres, is situated at the area of Agora, in the prefecture of Drama and the vineyards lie in the area between the villages of Agora, Pigadia and Adriani. Integrated cultivation techiques are implemented. The vineyards are situated on a slightly sloppy area with continental climate, and moderate composition ground. The altitude ranges between 200-230 meters. The winery of 4,000 square meters is equipped with modern machinery and neighbours the vineyards. The settlements constitute an integrated building which includes the production facilities equipped with modern pneumatic presses and double skin fermentation tanks, the bottling line , the underground aging celars and the above-ground controlled temperature oak barrel storage vault, as well as rooms for seminars and wine-tasting and a superb art gallery where works of Greek and foreign artists are exhibited.
