Filia Ghi Winery
The Filia Ghi winery is located at the foot of Agrafa, near the banks of the ancient river Kouralios (today's Sofaditis). In one of the areas of the village of Filia - and specifically in the area of "Ampelia" - for hundreds of years, each family from the surrounding villages had a small area in which they cultivated their own vineyard. Every year every family was proud of their own wine!
An inviolable principle for the people who envisioned the creation of the winery was the respect for the tradition of the place. This was their main direction towards its designers. That is why it is not accidental that the building is decorated with the presence of a heron. It is its connection with the past since this heron indicates the long history of the place and brings to mind the ancient Panthessalian sanctuary of Itonia Athena which from prehistoric times was worshiped in the grove by the river Kouralios (today's Sofaditis) in shadow of Agrafa.
