Dio Filoi - Estate

The Estate of “Dio fili” operated for the first time this year. It was created by Yiannis Polyzos and Georgia Goutziamani, residents of Siatista with long experience in the production of wine by sun dried grapes, in cooperation with Yiannis Boutaris. The winery is settled in the town of Siatista, in the Prefecture of Kozani and is open to visit. It is, also, a member of the competition “Wine roads of North Greece”. The principal aim of the company is the qualitative upgrade of the historical vineyard of Siatista, by creating a modern, small sized winery of low capacity constructed and designed with architectural elements reminiscent of the mansions in Siatista. In 2007, it was attempted for the first time to make wine according to the traditional as also modern wine making methods.
