The story of Cloudy Bay is one of vision, adventure and captivating taste. In 1983 David Hohnen tasted his first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Driven by its intensity, he embarked on a journey to bottle the essence of Marlborough and share it with the world. Together with winemaker Kevin Judd they launched Cloudy Bay in 1985 and were instrumental in putting New Zealand's footprint on the wine map.
