Estate Argyros Santorini Cuvée Gerontampelo 2020

Cuvee Gerontampelo from Estate Argyros is a robust and structured Assyrtiko with the necessary elegance added by the French oak barrels. A carefully crafted wine that conveys all the essence of "Gerontabelo", which means "old vine" in the local language of Santorini.

The grapes are carefully selected from the oldest vines in Pyrgos, Megalochori and Episkopi.

On the glass we have a golden sun-kissed color. On the nose we find complex aromas of citrus fruits, roasted nuts, honeycomb, butter, with herbal notes following and minerality present throughout its spectrum. In the mouth there is an stunning elegance, with the body being full, high acidity, smooth butteriness and a long wonderful aftertaste.
