Tsiakkas Winery Pitsilia 2022

Pitsilia is a mountainous region with intense diversity, being surrounded by four forests: the Troodos in the west, the Machiras in the east, the "Brothers" in the north and the Limassol in the south. The oenologist Kostas Danos chooses the Xynisteri variety from an altitude of 1,200 meters and from a single vineyard named Agios Ioannis. The wine matures for 9 months with batonnage, in a combination of French, American and Commandaria 1st-fill oak barrels.⁠

The wine has a light lemon color, with green highlights. On the nose we find aromas of stone fruits, followed by citrus fruits, framed by subtle herbal and botanical notes. Full mouthfeel, with good acidity, a subtle oiliness and a long lasting aftertaste.
