Triantafylli Estate Silosa Barrel Aged 2022

Silosa Barrel Aged from the Triantafylli Estate in Karystos is 100% Savatiano old vines, whose age exceeds 45 years. Ageing for 3 months in different barrels (oak and acacia) is applied and blending is done before bottling. In the glass we find a bright golden colour and the nose is slightly complex. Characteristic aromas like citrus fruits come first and progressively followed by tropical ones such as banana and melon, while vanilla and brioche aroma complete the profile. On the palette, the body has a light buttery style and refreshing acidity, bringing balance into the whole. Lastly, the aftertaste has a medium duration with tropical aromas prevailing.
