Strataridakis Winery Inatos 2020
Inatos introduces us a different aspect of Muscat of Spina. Single varietal and from old vines of the Strataridakis winery, with the main goal being to highlight the terroir of the most geographically southern winery in Europe!
The battonnage with the fine lees is what gives the wine its buttery feel and luscious character. Of course, aging for 10 months in first-use French oak barrels also helps.
In the glass the color is deep lemon with golden highlights. On the nose the aromas come to impress with buttery lemon blossoms, ripe apricot, soft notes of Turkish delight and tropical fruits such as mango and banana.
On the palette it is dry, full-bodied and soft at the same time, rounded acidity, and a really long aftertaste.
Using a decanter for 30 minutes will help the aromas to get expressed to the maximum.
