Papargyriou Winery Cuvée Hélène 2023
Papargyriou Winery Cuvée Hélène 2023
The new creation of the Papargyriou Winery is called Cuvée Hélène and is named after his beloved wife Eleni. Giannis Papargyriou has planted 1500 Goustolidi vines at an altitude of 700 meters, in Sofiana, Corinth. This Goustolidi was harvested overripe, then kneaded in a French barrel and matured for about 3 months with its wine lees.
On the face we find a moderate lemon color with golden highlights. Aromas of citrus, apricot, peach unfold on the nose, on a background of brioche and nuts, with some very subtle notes of minerality to follow. The palate is of moderate+ volume, with the lively acidity that coexists pleasantly with a delicate oily texture and leads us to an enjoyable aftertaste.
