Rouvalis Winery Chardonnay Koutsoura 2019

Chardonnay Single Vineyard comes, as the label says, from a specific vineyard located very close to the winery and they call it Koutsoura 6. Old vines planted at 850 meters altitude, small acre yields with organic, manual care. The wine matures for 12 months on its fine lees in French oak barrels and for at least another 18 months, after bottling, in the winery's underground cellar.

In the glass we find a golden yellow color. On the nose we find aromas of citrus fruits, stone fruits, nuts, followed by notes of honey and butter. On the palate the body is rich, with crisp acidity and a long aftertaste.
