Moschopolis Winery Aiora White Amphora 2023
It consists of a blend of Assyrtiko from Santorini and the islands of the Aegean (40%), Xinomavro from Northern Greece (20%) and Malagousia (40%). Sur Lie vinification has been followed, where the wine is left for about 4 months together with the fine lees, while Malagouzia follows natural vinification in amphora. The wine is fermented with spontaneous native yeasts from the vine, while no filtering is applied, in order to preserve all its quality characteristics.
Nose full of freshness, with aromas of pear, peach, lemon, lime, white citrus flowers, but also green almond. In the mouth it has a medium body, refreshing acidity and aromatic intensity of peach, lemon, pear, citrus, lime and grapefruit, while also showing a subtle minerality.
