Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair Single Malt Whisky
Bunnahabhain has been in Islay since 1881 and is the least smoked of the island's other distilleries. Bunnahabhain means "mouth of the river", named after its location, as it is located on the banks of the river Margadale on the shores of the Sound of Islay and first appeared in 1883. However, its origin can be traced four years earlier when, in 1879 , William Robertson and the Greenlees brothers, had formed the Islay Distillery Company.
The Stiùireadair is the first limited edition of the distillery, designed to pay tribute to Captain Bunnahabhain, who adorns every bottle. With a sea breeze and notes of dried fruit it gives the maximum enjoyment. Rich in the mouth, with a wonderful feeling of freshness and aromatic richness that will surprise you. Aromas of sugar, raisins and caramel coexist in an exceptional set that is completed with hints of honey, nuts and salt.
