Glenfiddich Solera 15yo Whiskey

A typical example of the family's innovative spirit, the Glenfiddich 15Yo is created with a technique first introduced by Glenfiddich's Malt Master: warm, spicy aromas are transformed into something completely new thanks to the contribution of the unique Solera Vat barrel. It matures for at least 15 years in three different types of oak barrels and single malt is mixed into the unique Solera Vat, a handmade, large barrel that never empties and is always kept half full.The Solera Vat technique gives great complexity and strong aromas. The heather honey and vanilla fudge are married with rich red fruits. Velvety soft taste reveals waves of oak sherry, almond, cinnamon and ginger giving a satisfactorily rich aftertaste with prolonged sweetness.
