In 1824 Sir Alexander Ramsay founded the Fettercairn distillery. Located at the foot of the Cairngorms mountain range, it uses crystal clear water from the surrounding mountain springs, not only to produce whiskey but also for the infamous cold of its distiller (water ring), which contributes through an automatic reflux to maximum softness. and elegance of the final distillate.
It matures in barrels of American oak ex-bourbon and gives us aromas of refreshing nectarine, white flowers and milk chocolate, with notes of caramel and discreet roasted coffee. To all this is added a sweet and spicy depth that is complemented by a flicker of bitter herbs and vanilla.
