Dalmore 12yo Whisky

Dalmore is a distillery that sets the highest standards in the production of its whiskey. It is located in the Highlands, in the Alness region, north of Inverness. The story of Dalmore goes back to 1263 when the Colin of Kintail rescued King Alexander III from an attacking deer and so his (Mackenzie) tribe was honorably given the emblem of the royal deer. 12-year-old Dalmore matures 50% in Bourbon (American Oak) barrels and 50% in Oloroso Sherry barrels. Thus it acquires its deep color, the aromas of orange and spices, and its exuberant aftertaste.
