Don Papa Baroko Rum

The story of Don Papa Rum begins at the foot of the active volcano Mt. Kanlaon, where the canes are ground to create a sweet, rich molasses.

Don Papa celebrates the passion and enthusiasm of the revolutionary and hero Papa Isio, from the island of Negros in the Philippines, who fought for the island's independence. Made from molasses, known as "black gold", it ages for several years in barrels of former American Bourbon, at the foot of Mount Kanlaon, before being mixed to give it a rich flavor. The final blend highlights the spirit of Don Papa, overflowing with aromas of citrus and vanilla on the nose, while it is full of notes of candied tropical fruits and honey with a long bold aftertaste of dried raisins and scorched oak.
