The story of Flor de Caña began in 1890, when Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa, a young explorer from Italy, risked everything to travel to exotic Nicaragua. There he found the perfect place for the Flor de Caña distillery, at the foot of San Cristóbal Volcano, the tallest and most active volcano in Nicaragua. Flor de Caña rum 7 Gran Reserva ages for 7 years and this results in a premium rum with aromas of roasted coconut, vanilla and figs.
