Brugal 1888 Doblemente Añejado is a truly exceptional rum, produced in the Dominican Republic and combining the rich flavors of bourbon and sherry barrels through a process of double maturation. In 1888 it begins to mature in American oak bourbon barrels and then in European sherry barrels, this blend gives in 1888 an intricate but smooth taste profile. A complex rum characterized by aromas such as vanilla, cocoa, coffee, raisins, caramel, orange peel, with notes of red fruit and nuts. In the mouth it is fine, with a long enjoyable finish.
