Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé
Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé
Madame Clicquot in 1818 created the first rosé blend in the Champagne region. Contrary to the hitherto known method, she mixed a quantity of refined Bouzy red wine with her classic champagne. The result was the first rosé blend, the Veuve Clicquot Rosé. It is based on the traditional recipe of Brut Yellow Label, completing it with 12% red wine carefully selected, to offer aromatic intensity and body. Then the wine matures for three years in the cellars of the House. The result is an explosion of red fruit on the nose, while in the mouth it is exuberant and ripe, with impeccable finesse and strength.
