Combining the love for the unique varieties of the Greek vineyard with the creative search of the different expressions of Retsina, Rosa from 100% Xinomavro is the result of a bold bet. A Retsina with exuberant character, with deep pink color with violet highlights. The aromas of fresh wild strawberry balance with the cool notes of resin, which alternate between mastic and herbs and come together on a smoky background from the barrel. The characteristic acidity of Xinomavro gives the wine freshness and balances with the aromatic intensity of the wine before ending up with a prolonged spicy finish. Ideal accompaniment for grilled mushrooms, seafood, smoked salmon plain or with pasta, braised fish, lamb in the hull or spit, meatballs with red sauce, grilled eggplants, dishes of Asian cuisine, such as salmon sushi and hard vegetables tempura and spicy hard cheeses.
