Rapsani Wines
Located right before the valley of Tempe and next to the Mount Ossa, the vineyards of Rapsani lie on the mountaintop of Prophet Elias at an altitude of 100-700 meters and receive an east and southeast sun exposure. The beneficial combination of Olympus mountain and the Aegean sea, creates a unique microclimate that allows grapes a good maturation. Here, the varieties cultivated are three: Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto, all of them red. Their co-vinification gives a P.D.O. Rapsani wine which has rich taste and typical aromatic bouquet.
