For this micro-vinification, Ktima Kir Yianni harvests Xinomavro from a small vineyard called "Rasto" (6.2 acres in total) in Amyntaio, which is located at an altitude of 620 meters with sandy clay soils and a medium slope highlighting the particularly high quality characteristics of the grapes of the region.
The wine matures for 20 months in a 1000 liter clay amphora.
On the glass we meet a bright ruby colour, with violet highlights. On the nose we find aromas of plum, red cherry, fig, tomato paste, olive paste, with notes of spices following, on a background of a wonderful underlying minerality. Its body is medium, with high acidity, juicy tannins and a long-lasting aftertaste.
