Tsapournakos or Tsaprunakos is the name given to an old grape variety in Velvento. The root of the word is Latin and is related to its grape radish that refers to a small plum. It belongs to the bigger family of Cabernet Franc. Its bouquet refers to black ripen fruits and spices, it has a balanced body and a long aftertaste.
