Strofilia Estate Rare Earths Tabouri 2021
The Rare Earths series is the choice of people in the Strofilia Estate to highlight both their excellent work on local and international varieties and the individual vineyards that they have distinguished throughout the years. Tabouri, located in Ancient Nemea, is produced with low plant density, LYRA configuration of vines, which offers longer exposure to the sun and is sourced from a variety rarely vinified alone in Greece.
At an altitude of 800 meters on the plateau of Stymfalia in mountainous Corinth, the winery produces a very expressive Cabernet Franc from the Tabouri vineyard. In the glass we find a moderate ruby color. In the aromatic characteristics we find abundant aromas of ripe red fruits, intense green pepper, basil, vanilla, with notes of ink to follow. Elegant and balanced on the palate, with round tannins, pleasant acidity and lasting aftertaste.
