Strofilia Estate Rare Earths Galari 2021
The Rare Earths series is the choice of people in the Strofilia Estate to highlight both their excellent work on local and international varieties and the individual vineyards that they have distinguished throughout the years. Galari, located in Ancient Nemea, is characterized by three innovative decisions: low plant density, LYRA configuration of vines, which offers longer exposure to the sun, while cultivating an unique varietal blend.
- Mixed vinification of Agiorgitiko, Petit Verdot and Tannat to combine the velvety character, the refreshing acidity and the polyphenols of the varieties respectively. It matures in new French oak.
- Dark, crimson color that prepares us the ripe red fruit aromas that follow. Discreet vanilla, sweet spices and aromatic herbs from the oak .
- Full bodied, with ripe tannins and balanced acidity, shows signs of an excellent development over time. It pairs perfectly with roast beef and game, as well as aged cheeses and sausages.
