Papargyriou Winery Cuvée Espérance 2021

Cuvée Espérance by Yiannis Papargyriou is released in just 400 bottles and comes from the Montepulciano variety, from the highest vineyards of the estate at 850 meters. The variety was discovered by chance by Yiannis Papargyriou among Assyrtiko vines and he decided to find its identity, where he discovered that it is Montepulciano. The wine remains in 300lt French barrels for 12 months.

In the glass we have a deep purple color. On the nose we find strong aromas of cherries, berries, plum, followed by notes of vanilla and spices. On the palate it is rich, with strong but well-integrated tannins, pleasant acidity and an aftertaste that lasts for a long time.
