The Settlement Vineyard Pinot Noir is in the Omaka Valley microregion of the Southern Valleys which is considered to be Marlborough's most tannic sub-region. The grapes are hand harvested, continued by a natural fermentation. Ageing in French oak barriques follows, where the wine matures for 12 months and then another 3 months in tank to settle gently and naturally . The wine is bottled unfiltered and remains there for 4 months before its release. It’ s a classic style of Omaka Pinot Noir, characterized by juicy, ripe blue and red fruits, aromatic spices and earthy notes, while the structure promises bottle ageing.
