Lost Lake Aged Tsipouro Last Battle 1829
Lost Lake Aged Tsipouro Last Battle 1829
The Lost Lake Distillery produces the aged tsipouro Last Battle 1829. The year 1829 refers to the <<Battle of Petra>>, the last battle of the Greek Revolution, that began in 1821, and took place in Boeotia. The spirit is produced from the Assyrtiko, Mouchtaro, Sauvignon Blanc, Kountoura and Malagouzia varieties. It is then aged in a combination of new and used 350lt French oak barrels for at least 3 years.
It has soft aromas of oak, tobacco, caramel, ripe forest fruits and hints of spices that follow. It has rich and round mouthfeel, with all its characteristics being matched and balanced with the barrel.
